To make an appointment for our Bright or Myrtleford clinic, or for any enquiries, please call 03 5729 0500 or 0490 861 655.
Sometimes we are unable to answer, please leave a message with your name and contact number, and we will call you back as soon as we can. If you call after hours, please also leave a message.
No referral is required to make an appointment with Riley Counselling and Consulting, you may attend privately. If you do have a referral from your GP, Paediatrician, Psychiatrist or other, we ask that you please fax, email or drop a copy of your referral in prior to your appointment.

Each session with Riley Counselling and Consulting lasts for 50 minutes.
The cost varies with the type of consultation and it is best to discuss fees with us prior to your first session. As a general guide $120 is charged per session and $130 for all sessions that require a report (such as Medicare review).
If you are coming in with a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, then you may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $74.80 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. For instance, with a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan referral you may be eligible to claim the Medicare rebate leaving an out of pocket expense of just $45.20 for subsequent sessions.
If you do not have a referral you cannot claim a rebate from Medicare.
Late cancellation fees apply to cancellations less than 24 hours before an appointment, or if you fail to attend. A late cancellation fee is 50% of the appointment fee.
Consultation fees are due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, credit and Eftpos.
